A favorite resource of mine, the Folger Shakespeare Library, is somewhat skimpy on lesson plans for Julius Caesar. I have only taught this play once before, earlier in my career. I don’t remember that anything I did then was in any way spectacular, memorable, or brilliant, and I would really like my current students to have a different experience. If you know of resources or have ideas of your own, I would love to hear them.

Hi Dana,
I just noticed this link as I was looking over your Lesson Before Dying work. I've taught Caesar the last three years and have some workable items and a lot of in process of refining because it is a challenging text for my students (I'm moving it in the order again this year). Are you still looking for ideas for Caesar or did you build it out?

I don't have to teach it this year. I am doing Romeo and Juliet (for which I have plenty of ideas) and Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth. Thanks for the offer, though!
