I took a step and applied to Virginia Tech’s online graduate school to earn an Instructional Technology Master of Arts degree. It looks like a good program, and I can do all of my studying online, which will help me a great deal, as I have small children at home and a full time job to think about. I have been wanting to do this for a while, but frankly hadn’t found the right program to apply to until recently. It’s kind of exciting to think that this time next year, I might be a Hokie. Of course, some of you might say I’m already there (har, har).

That is great. I was actually looking into doing an online program as well for instructional technology. It's so hard to tell, though, what's reputable and what's not, so I'm looking forward to your assessment of the program. Good luck!
Congrats! I just started at Georgia State for a MAT in Secondary Math. I hear they're going online in the near future, but for now I'm commuting to classes downtown.
Best of luck to you in your studies!
That's really exciting! Many congrats. 🙂
Grad school is arduous, especially with wee ones underfoot. May your stamina be boundless!
Thanks everyone. I am looking forward to it. As I said, I have wanted to go back for some time, but it's hard to do as Megan is doing and go downtown a couple of nights a week. I am looking forward to being able to do it from home. And the degree program is exactly what I want.
