Wish I could have shown this BEFORE my students had to recite their Poetry Out Loud entries! next year for sure. Thx
I'm not sure how long it's been up on SlideShare, but it just crossed my radar today. Check out his other presentations. They're excellent.
Jesse is an online teacher-friend of mine and I'm so happy to see this up on your blog- she did an excellent job. I tried to teach speech skills during my practicum prior to "sales pitches" my juniors did, and this would have made a great addition to all the multimedia aspects I incorporated. I love it when a movie comes out that high school students may not go see on their own, but can find something worthwhile in theme or a character in the film.
I think you might have confused this Jesse with another one. His profile says he is in advertising, marketing, and PR. His full name is Jesse Desjardins.
I think he is one of the "geniuses" behind "You Suck at Photoshop" which has given me several good laughs over the years.
I like his sense of humor. His "You Suck at PowerPoint" slide show is one of my favorites.
